Senior Software Developer (Limerick)
Our client is a rapidly growing Irish technology company located in Limerick city centre, and successfully operating globally. They have invested heavily in the latest tools and they are operating at the very leading edge of technology. They are an immediate requirement for a Senior Software (Backend) Developer to join their team. This is a permanent job and it’s an immediate requirement.
Our client is looking to hire an experienced backend developer to work on green field projects using the latest Java technology stack. In this role you will be working on a challenging mix of innovative and technically challenging projects. You will be responsible for the design, implementation and testing of REST based micro services, applying HATEOAS, stream processing, and reactive and functional programming principles.
You will develop high quality applications in a Scrum environment and you will be mentoring and assisting other team members. From day one you will be involved in the complete software development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, construction and testing.
Educated to degree level, you have strong analytical, design and coding skills as well as excellent collaborative and communication skills. You should ideally have circa 8+ years’ experience in the JVM ecosystem, ideally including Java 8. You are looking to use your expert knowledge of web technologies in an exciting and challenging product development role and you would consider yourself to be a motivated and creative personality
